Diário da Morte | Animated Music Video

I developed the visuals and directed the animation for my band's (ETNO) music video, "Diário da Morte". Which means, "death's diary" in english. We discussed the concept for the story and I worked out the storyboard and script of the main keyframes that would tell a cool story. So after working on post-it's for the storyboard, I went on to create each individual scene in Photoshop, drawing on my Cintiq. Then I passed on each PSD file to my animator who would then animate each scene according to the guidelines I had drawn out for him. This was very labor intensive and we had a lot of back and forth, but the result was more than satisfying. Hope you like it.
